Jumping into a Jumpsuit

LOFT Jumpsuit

I’ve been crushing on the jumpsuit trend for years. But, being petite, I never thought I’d be able to pull the look off without the garment suffering major alterations. That all changed when I found this darling black number at LOFT. The length is perfect (bonus points for being able to wear it with or without heels), and it met all required criteria to justify adding it to my closet — plus, I already knew that I didn’t own anything like it! This jumpsuit can easily be styled with a statement necklace, as I’ve done for a more formal look, or with a blazer for a conservative feel. Either way, I foresee my new jumpsuit getting a lot of wear time this summer. And let’s face it, aside from throwing on a dress, jumping into a jumpsuit is the next best thing!

Thank you for the photos, Claudia!

  1. These photos are fantastic! I love the background. You look amazing in that jumpsuit and have styled it perfectly. I’ve been meaning to make a leap into the trend, but haven’t yet. With your fantastic inspiration, I think I’ll be buying a jumpsuit sooner rather than later πŸ™‚

    1. Definitely join the trend, Zoe! I am so happy that I finally found a jumpsuit that fits me. It is so much fun and I’m looking forward to getting a lot of use out of it.

  2. First of all… Loft. I don’t know when they got into transitional pieces that work perfectly for any occasion, but my closet is bursting at the seams thanks to them, too, ha! Secondly, girlfriend you look FIERCE! Love how that statement necklace really dresses up the whole look and brings everything together. πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks so much! I LOVE LOFT! I have so many pieces in my closet from them, but I’m usually not too lucky with their dresses and jumpsuits — so I was thrilled when I spotted this beauty…and it fit!

Thanks for visiting my blog. Judging from name, I think I’m going to like your blog, too!
