Well, it’s official. Summer is coming to an end…and this time for real. With the arrival of fall tomorrow, and fewer chances to head to the beach, have a picnic, and watch the sunset, I thought I’d share the last couple I’ve captured. I’m not sure where the fascination came from, but recently I’ve been enjoying making a quick stop at Wild By Nature for some easy picnic fixings and then claiming my spot on the sand as the wind picks up and the sun dips behind the clouds. It has been a great way to unwind and relax in the evening. If you’re looking for something to do to commemorate the last summer night of 2015, then get your picnic basket ready and toss in a few simple fixings. Some provolone cheese, turkey, a nice roll, and your favorite beverage should do the trick. Then just head to the beach or park, unpack, and take in the view!
Beautiful pictures!
Thank you!
These photos are all so stunning, I can’t believe summer is already over!

Thank you! I never like seeing summer go either, but at least I have lots of nice photos to look at when there is snow on the ground and I’m all bundled up. It’s what will get me through until next summer!
Such great pictures! I’m hoping the weather cools down in LA soon, because I’m ready for fall weather. 🙂

Thanks, Vanessa! Can we trade locations? I’d be thrilled if I could keep summer…even just for a few more months!
Beautiful photos! The end of summer is always so sad – I think I may have to take you up on that picnic idea – what a great way to say goodbye to the season!

A sunset picnic is so much fun, Annessa! And you can do it into fall, if the weather stays reasonably warm. I love seeing how the colors of the sunsets change with the seasons.
The first view is my favorite.
Thank you, Eric! I’m glad you enjoyed the post and thanks for visiting Living in Steil.
