Fringe Finds

Fringe Finds

In case you missed the memo and thought the 1970’s were gone for good, I’m here to tell you…they’re back! Prepare yourself for the return of flared jeans, suede pants, and oh yes, fringe.

I’ve been seeing tons of fringe lately on everything from boots to bags, and honestly, I wasn’t sure I was a fan of the trend. But it’s growing on me. Since I never experienced the fashion of the 70’s firsthand, I feel like now is the time where I can put my own spin on the looks from that decade.

I’m starting with boots. We all know that booties are a classic fall staple — pair them with a shirt dress, skinny jeans, or your favorite skirt and you are good to go. But add some fringe to them and you’ve just created a funky outfit that’s completely in style this season.

If you aren’t ready to embrace the trend wholeheartedly, fringe booties are a great option. Even a simple suede bootie can help you transition into a fringe fiend. So grab those boots, have fun with some fringe, and get groovy like it’s the 70’s all over again!

What are your thoughts on fringe? Can you dig it?

    1. Thanks, Roxanne! I’m with you on the fringe detail. I prefer it to be an accent, as opposed to a whole piece itself. I’m glad you enjoyed the post and thank you for visiting Living in Steil!

  1. Sueded booties are definitely my favorite fringed item that’s trending this season! I’m a little wary to jump on the 70’s bandwagon because although it’s the rage right now, I can’t help but feel that in a couple season we’ll be saying “nope” to those high-waisted bell bottoms lol. I think the booties are a safe option though for standing the test of time!

  2. At first I was kind of confused at the comeback of fringe and now I am obsessed with it! Looks great on everything really, but I am especially loving fringe boots! I’ve actually shared a pair on my blog that I came across and loved! Now it seems I have some more to look at and perhaps invest in…

    1. I’m with you, Kyah! At first, I wasn’t really on board with the whole fringe frenzy. But I like it in moderation, and boots seemed like a good place to start. I’m glad you enjoyed the post and thanks for visiting Living in Steil!
