Ironically, I never managed to capture the many Santa Clauses walking around New York City during Santa Con on Saturday. If you missed yesterday’s post regarding my day in New York City over the weekend, you can catch it here.
I did visit the New York Public Library (on my bucket list after watching the wedding scene in SATC), snap a few shots of the Lord & Taylor holiday windows (a short video is on my Instagram), and get swept up in a crowd while attempting to take a picture of the tree at Rockefeller Center (not my idea of fun).

Thank you for all these pictures of NYC during the Christmas holiday season. I wish to live it for real but for now, I am living vicariously through you.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the post.
Loving that tree! And definitely with you with your reference to SATC. Ha! Looks like you had a great time!

I hope you get to visit soon, Kelsey!
These are so stunning! I’ve been to NY but never during the holidays. Hopefully someday. That tree is gorgeous, and I love the Lord and Taylor window displays. I imagine there is no shortage of amazing window displays in NYC near Christmas.

Thanks, Krisztina! I’m glad you liked the photos. There are tons of gorgeous windows to see in the City — if you can get close enough.
In spite of all the madness that surrounded you on Saturday, you managed to get some really great shots, Vanessa! I love the first shot of the window at Lord & Taylor, as well as the Christmas tree in front of the library (so beautiful)!
Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you’re having a wonderful day so far, beauty!

Thanks, Jalisa! It certainly wasn’t easy getting those shots with the crowd. The tree at the New York Public Library is amazing, isn’t it?! Despite the craziness, I’m still glad I ventured into the City for the day.
OMG yes Rockefeller Center tree is so crazy. My parents wanted to go last year and I was reluctantly dragged along and I basically just hid out in the Michael Kors store while my mom took photos. It can be super romantic at night though and going by Columbus Circle is fun too.

I can totally understand wanting to hide out somewhere. The crowds can be really difficult to take after a while. I think the City is so pretty this time of year, but it’s better to go in after the holidays.
Those window displays are amazing! Looks like a festive day over all!

Thank you, Stella! It was exciting to be in NYC right before the holidays. But you need a lot of patience, and time, to brave the crowds. I’m glad you enjoyed the post and photos!
