December has been a whirlwind. But my holiday shopping is finally done. See, it pays to procrastinate (sometimes?). I braved the mall on Saturday, something I vowed never to do after my experience a few weeks ago, but it was not as crowded as I expected. I narrowed down my shopping to a handful of stores and had a list all prepared (in my head). By 3 pm I was finished — gifts purchased, car packed, and in major need of a coffee or something sweet. Fortunately, IHOP was right across the street and satisfied my craving.
Now I just need to start wrapping everything…before Christmas Eve.
Stay tuned for my final gift guide coming to the blog tomorrow. And apologies for being slightly behind on responding to comments and visiting all of your blogs the last few days. I promise to catch up soon. In the meantime, here are some snaps from the weekend:
{How many should I “gift” myself?}
{A very expensive coffee machine or an extra from Star Wars. You decide!}
{This mug says it all….}
{Cinnabon French toast from IHOP}
{Finally, a truffle that’s large enough for a choc-o-holic like myself! PS – it was as big as a soccer ball.}

Sounds like a fun and productive shopping trip! That dish you got from IHOP looks delicious. 🙂

Thanks, Kathrine! I feel so much less stressed now that I got my shopping done. That French toast from IHOP was delicious — and the perfect way to end a long day at the mall!

Me too, Ashleigh! I was very proud that I did not “gift” myself any Coach bags this year — although I made up for it with lots of trips to Target, and a couple of pairs of OTK boots.

Yay! Congrats to you as well. Now I just need to find time to wrap everything. Happy holidays!
So many seriously intriguing pictures! That coffee machine?! The french toast?! And that truffle, yes yes yes. If it was real chocolate I would’ve been purchasing that Coach bag and slipping the Lindt soccer ball inside hehe — nothing to see here lol
Happy Christmas week to you!
Thanks, Tristan! The truffle actually held 40 smaller truffles inside. Wouldn’t that make a great gift? I would love to have that coffee machine, too…but I don’t think it would fit under my tree. Oh, and it’s $15K!
Hahaha, I love that coffee mug 🙂 Great selection and wish you wonderful holidays!

Thanks, Shaira! Three Coach bags would work for me. But in the interest of full disclosure, I’ve done well this season with gifting presents to myself. I would say for each present I purchased for someone, I purchased one for myself. I’m glad you enjoyed the post and happy holidays!
Nice post, the handbags you share are so stunning!!!
Thanks, Frances! Coach bags always make a great gift.
Wow! Love the mug so much! Nice post dear!
