Blogger Goals: Me Time


We are halfway through the week, my lovely readers. How has it been going for you? It’s been a rough one for me — but I’m managing as best I can. I’ve gotten behind on my blog comments and social media posting this week — sorry. In the spirit of self-preservation, I am allowing myself a long weekend, starting today. I have never deviated from my regular posting schedule since I started blogging more than two years ago. But this week has taken a lot out of me, and rather than write half-hearted posts (which, let’s be honest, are no fun to read), I’ve decided to stay true to myself, this blog, and you — my readers.

I’ll be catching up over the next couple of days on some “blog-keeping” (a blogger’s version of housekeeping), and making time for rest and relaxation. I will be back to my regular daily posting schedule on Monday, May 9th!

    1. Thanks, Jalisa! I think I forgot how important taking time for myself is. I’m always on the run, and it feels nice to take it at a slower pace for a few days. I’ll definitely be on my game come Monday!
