Wednesday Wanderings: Stop and Smell the Flowers

I’ll be honest. It hasn’t felt much like spring these last few weeks on Long Island. Between the rainy days and the chill lingering in the air, brighter and warmer temps this week are a welcome relief. I’m still adjusting to the slower pace I’ve set for myself, and in doing so I’ve taken some time out of each day to stop and admire the beauty that is around me.

Here’s hoping you will do the same this week. Happy Wednesday!

    1. Thanks, Jalisa! I love flowers, too. As you can see from my Instagram, I have yet to come across one that I didn’t find beauty in and snap a picture of. Hope you’re having a great week and enjoying this beautiful spring day today!

  1. Well it may not feel like spring on Long Island but it certainly looks like it from the photos you shared! It has been pretty cold and gloomy and hard to believe it’s spring on this side of the country too…here’s hoping the next few weeks bring warmer and sunnier weather to us both!

    1. That would be great, Kasie! It actually feels like spring today — it’s sunny and in the 70’s. I hope the weather stays like this, and that it warms up for you, too.
