The boxes are packed, the large pieces of furniture disassembled, and bags of clothing have been set aside for donation. Yes, my moving date has finally arrived—which is a good thing, given my many sleepless nights and days spent stressing about the move.
If you’ve moved yourself (or helped anyone else move), you know that it is quite an undertaking. I thought I was in pretty good shape going into the weekend—and have been working on things like disassembling furniture bit by bit—but when I go to crawl into bed at night I can think of nothing else but how these pieces are going to be transported and what my much smaller space will look like with large pieces of furniture inside. And then I think about just selling everything and starting off with a blank slate—and new furniture.
But the simple act of measuring the space and pondering what I will be moving into it has brought me back to reality—and maybe even calmed my nerves.
Looking forward to giving you all an update either on Wednesday or Friday!
I will be praying for a smooth transition for you. Take you time on how you want the place to look. Can’t wait to see the final results!

Congrats! I HATE moving and we have done it so much lately! But once you’ve got the packing up part over with, it’s only new possibilities from there ❤️ can’t wait to see what you do with your new space!
