Better hurry—the Beauty Insider sale at Sephora is going on now. And, like a true beauty aficionado, I wasted no time over the weekend heading to my local store and stocking up on my beauty must-haves.
So, what did I buy?
With 10 – 15% off, the Insider event is the perfect time to try that new product you’ve wanted to get your hands on or to splurge on that pricy eyeshadow palette that you’ve been holding off on.
I have a confession…I’ve become a bit of a #NARSissist lately. Yes, I have fallen in love with almost every product the cosmetic company makes—so, naturally, I took full advantage of this sale and treated myself to not one…or two products from the line….but, a few.
- NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer: Every blogger and beauty magazine has raved about this product, so I thought it was time that I tried it for myself. While I am a loyal foundation wearer Monday through Friday, when the weekend rolls around, I like to give my skin a break. A tinted moisturizer was just what I needed to round out my beauty routine. I love that this moisturizer is lightweight, has a hint of color to it, and gives you a soft, dewy glow.
- NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer: I haven’t been much of a concealer wearer in the past, but the bags under my eyes from too many long work days and sleepless nights really needed to go. This creamy concealer (Light 2 – Vanilla) matches my skin tone nicely and can be worn under or over my foundation.
- Milk Makeup Highlighter (Lit – champagne pearl): Last month, I bought the Milk Luminous Blur Stick to use as a primer after reading glowing reviews of it in a magazine. But honestly, I was not impressed. While I was swatching the blur stick on my hand in the store, I came across their highlighter and decided that I would give it a try at some point. Well, this sale was the perfect time. The highlighter gives a beautiful bronzed shimmer and is probably one of the nicest highlighters I’ve ever used. It will definitely get a lot of wear this summer!
- NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment: It is no secret that I am a huge fan of lipstick that stays put all day and does not need to be reapplied. While I prefer Stila’s Stay All Day liquid lipstick line to this one, the color won me over. Overall, the staying power is pretty good, but I found this liquid formula a little harder to apply than Stila’s.
Ready to get some must-haves of your own? Today is the final day of the sale.
