I’m so excited to be hosting a fun shopping event at the LOFT tonight in Huntington Village, NY from 5-7 pm. Come shop with me and enjoy exclusive discounts at purchase when you mention the event!
With spring just around the corner, there are a few things on my wardrobe wish list from the LOFT.
Here are some of the pieces that I need in my closet for the upcoming season:

Pointelle Ruffle Sweater: Spring is a great time to pick up a light sweater as a layering piece for those cool mornings to wear with a blazer, and then as outerwear when the weather warms up later in the day. I’m loving the ruffle details on the pointelle sweater and the soft lavender shade for spring. This is a great piece to score in a couple of different colors.
Side Stripe Slim Pocket Jeans: I own a lot of jeans from LOFT because they fit me well and last forever. These jeans with the side stripe would be the perfect addition to my denim collection—they’re a little different from what I already own with the side stripe down the leg and give off a varsity feel, while still being dressy when paired with a button down blouse.

Tie Waist Pencil Pants (Marisa Fit): This fit is my favorite from LOFT. I own quite a few pants in the Marisa fit (actually, all of my pants for the office are in this cut) and love how slimming they are. I already own a pair of tie waist pencil pants in a bold yellow, but I am really feeling the lilac and lavender hues at the moment.
Herringbone Knit Blazer: Um, who doesn’t love a well-fitted blazer? I do, that’s for sure. I was eyeing a heavier grey blazer all winter at LOFT that I never ended up purchasing (and secretly regretted that miss). So, I think I will make up for it with this more spring-like version that I can wear to the office with a t-shirt and jeans for a casual Friday, yet still professional look.

Topstitched Tie Waist Flare Dress: This dress immediately caught my eye online (because one can never have too many black dresses). I could see styling this beauty with over-the-knee boots while it is still cold out or wearing it from desk to dinner with a pair of stilettos. You really can’t go wrong with this classic silhouette!
Duster Sweater: How many long LOFT sweaters are too many? The answer—you can never have enough. I probably own about a handful of long sweaters, but can you blame me? They’re perfect for layering or lounging—and they have become an essential travel piece that I always make sure to pack. This light duster sweater is no exception. I’m loving the soft cream shade and can see wearing it with jeans all throughout the spring.
Hope to see you at LOFT tonight!
See you there!
Thanks for coming, Sue!
