You know that feeling when you really want to purchase something, but it is sold out? Isn’t it the worst? Well, it happened to me when I went to buy The Margot earrings from the shop of Emily Schuman’s Cupcakes and Cashmere.
The double-chain earrings first came on my radar when I saw Emily wearing them on her Instagram Stories and thought they looked fun and edgy. Apparently, so did everyone else. By the time I moused over to the shop to purchase a pair for myself, they were sold out. I immediately signed up to be notified when they were restocked, but until then, all I could do was feverishly stalk the shop’s website.
That day finally arrived a few weeks later, and as soon as I received the notification email, I immediately began filling in my details on the site to make my purchase. But before I could complete the order, I was notified once more that the earrings had sold out. I quickly emailed the Cupcakes and Cashmere team thinking there was some kind of error and was told they only received a small restock.

The next day, an email landed in my junk box from the buyer for the Cupcakes and Cashmere Shop announcing that she had a pair of The Margot earrings I was searching for. I immediately Googled her name to make sure the email was legit and once I determined it was, I responded that I wanted to purchase the earrings.
I was really impressed by how responsive the Cupcakes and Cashmere team was, both through direct message on Instagram and via email, and would like to especially thank Lisa, the buyer who emailed me to let me know she had a pair of the earrings in stock (and even included a discount code with my purchase). I was so excited when my earrings finally arrived. I’ve received a ton of compliments on them so far and can’t wait to style them with some of my ear cuffs.
Thanks to the wonderful team at the Cupcakes and Cashmere Shop who went above and beyond, I finally have the pair of earrings I was desperately searching for!
