When I was in New York City last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Nicole Glassman, the founder of Mindful Health, a holistic health company that helps clients feel better and develop a deeper understanding of their bodies.
I had ‘met’ Nicole through Instagram last summer after winning a giveaway she was a part of. Nicole sent me a beautiful Mindful Health Gives crystal water bottle from VitaJuwel (seen here), which I love to use. We only recently realized that we were both alums of American University in Washington, D.C., and Nicole is also a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), which I am now enrolled in as part of their Health Coach Training Program. So, needless to say, I wanted to meet Nicole in person.
Last Thursday, I stopped by Nicole’s office in Midtown and got to chat with her about her work in wellness, our D.C. days, and her time at IIN. It was great to swap wellness stories and our conversation reaffirmed to me that I am on the right path as a cancer survivor, advocate, and as someone who wants to help others live a healthier lifestyle.

Nicole graciously let me try a short Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy session while I was there. The treatment is non-invasive and works by sending a weak electrical signal to recharge your cells and can help with injuries, pain, and other traumas by regenerating tissue and reducing swelling. There are many benefits to PEMF Therapy, which include improved sleep, reduced aches and pains, increased immunity, reduced inflammation, and increased energy. During my PEMF session I felt heat in different parts of my body and woke up 30 minutes later feeling fully recharged.
After my first PEMF session, I noticed that I slept better that night and the following nights, and I was more alert during the day. Nicole recommends routine PEMF treatments to receive the maximum benefits.
I’m looking forward to seeing Nicole again for a Bioenergetic Evaluation (E.A.V.), a test that measures acupuncture meridians on the hands and feet to determine if an organ or body system is functioning optimally.
If you’re in New York City and would like to learn more about holistic wellness, I highly recommend booking an appointment with Nicole!
I am so glad that you stopped by and that you enjoyed your session!
Thanks, Nicole. It was so great to meet you in person!
