Have you been searching for a hair and skin care brand that’s not only good for you, but does good by you, too? Well, look no further than Seed Phytonutrients, a young company that is doing amazing things for every body on the planet.
I’ve been following Seed Phytonutrients on Instagram for a while and have seen their shampoo and conditioner line at my local Sephora. So, when they reached out and asked if they could send me samples, I couldn’t wait to actually try their products myself. Seed Phytonutrients was established in 2017 and is based in Doylestown, Pennsylvania (I always love supporting local brands). The brand promotes natural beauty, as well as organic farms and farmers, while also leading in environmental sustainability. That’s a lot, right? But that’s not all. Did you know that over the past century, 93% of seed varieties have been lost? Seed Phytonutrients is doing their part to preserve seed diversity and save the remaining seed varieties.

Seed Phytonutrients has introduced the first shower friendly paper bottle, which is made up of 100% post-consumer recycled compostable paper and contains 60-70% less plastic than a traditional bottle. See, their products do right by the environment, too. But my favorite part of their packaging material is the hidden heirloom seed packets that are contained inside the compostable paper. It was such a great surprise to find three little seed packets waiting for me when I finished my shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner samples. I’m looking forward to planting my Lemon Basil and Harvest Thyme seeds soon!

Now that you know all about this eco-friendly brand and what they are doing for our planet, you probably want to know about the products they sent me, right? I can honestly say that of all of the products that have been sent my way over the years, the ones from Seed Phytonutrients exceeded all of my expectations and have made me a devoted brand follower for sure. They sent over a moisturizing shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in moisturizer, which is perfect since I flat iron my hair almost daily. They also sent me samples of their body moisturizer, which I took along with me on my trip to the Cayman Islands, a gentle facial cleanser, a hand salve, and an ultra rich facial cream.

First, let’s start off with the packaging and branding. I was quite curious about how a compostable paper bottle would fair being subjected to the moisture of my nightly showers. But after two months, the bottles still looked like they were brand new and never used. That was seriously impressive! Next, all of their products smelled absolutely amazing. The moisture shampoo (which contains organic meadowfoam seed oil) and conditioner (which contains organic meadowfoam seed oil and mango butter to help tame those pesky fly-aways) have a natural aroma of black tea and ginger, which was very soothing to use when I washed my hair right before bed. I love that these formulas are silicon-free and absent of sulfates and harsh chemicals. The texture of the shampoo and conditioner was very lightweight, but left my hair feeling clean and nourished—exactly what I want my hair care products to do. The vegan leave-in treatment, with a blend of organic meadowfoam seed oil and both shea and mango butters, was the perfect finishing touch for dry hair to feel healthier in no time.

With a complete hair, face, and body collection, Seed Phytonutrients has made it easy to incorporate natural products that you’ll enjoy using into your life. The hand salve, which smelled like teakwood, was the most moisturizing lotion I have ever applied to my skin and the ultra rich facial cream with rose davana and chamomile was so hydrating and didn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. Everything they sent me made me feel like I was getting pampered at a spa when I used it and I looked forward to my nightly routine with these products.
So, do you want to use clean products that are nourishing for your hair and body? Do you feel good when you support a brand that does its part to protect the environment? Do you want to know how the products you are using are sourced and that they are made locally? Then Seed Phytonutrients is your brand. I have so enjoyed trying out the products they sent me and will now be a customer for life. I look forward to trying some of their other products from their hair collection (like the hair and body oil with sea salt and bergamont) and their anti-frizz smoothing cream with orange flower and parsley (and could use that right about now with this humidity).
I’m grateful that Seed Phytonutrients reached out and gave me the opportunity to try their incredible line of products that I now can’t live without. It was fascinating to learn more about this brand and the work that they are doing to promote natural beauty and to help sustain the environment. I hope you will mouse on over to their site and support their efforts!
Thank you, Seed Phytonutrients, for sharing these products from your line with me!
