It’s hard to believe that the end of the year is a mere 2 weeks away…meaning that the holidays are literally right around the corner! The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas always feels like such a blur, so it’s no wonder I’ve lost track of the days.
Since I’m sitting down to write my December agenda slightly later than usual, it also means that by now I’ve been able to mark some of my agenda items (like, get a Christmas tree) off my to-do list. I was very productive the first few days of this month and got a head start on my holiday shopping, getting my Christmas cards, and decorating my tree (even though there is a whole tree story that I won’t begin to bore you with)—all things that usually feel like they are happening at the last minute.
But fear not, even though I’ve accomplished a lot early on this month, there’s still plenty left on my December agenda to tackle.
Listen: Isn’t there something special about listening to live holiday music this time of year? While I usually see the Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra perform when they come to Heckscher Park in the summer, I’m excited to hear them play at a free holiday concert they’re having at a local high school on Long Island on Sunday, December 15th.
Do: I’m so excited to announce that I am now halfway through my holistic health coaching certification with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition! Enrolling in the program was one of the best decisions I’ve made and I’m looking forward to starting to see clients soon. If your goal for 2020 is to live your healthiest life yet, I’d love to chat with you. I’ll be offering virtual sessions as well as in-person sessions on Long Island, so take advantage of early bird prices and get a jump start on being in control of your health now!
Go: What’s better than taking a little staycation after the holidays? Recently, I took a trip out to Gurney’s in Montauk for a workout class…and did not want to leave. As soon as I got home, I immediately started planning my next trip out to the relaxing resort. There’s something restorative about heading to the east end of Long Island during the off-season. I’m already counting down the days until I can wake up to the sound of the ocean right outside my room.
Buy: Not sure what to get your favorite wellness warrior for the holidays? Well, Ghost Flower has got you covered. The female-founded brand that incorporates acupressure points into their element-themed collection has just launched their second line (and you all know how much I loved their first). Their latest collection debuts a beautiful onesie and features new hues and cuts that will flatter any frame. I can’t wait to get my hands on some of their newest pieces—especially the restore crop top and leggings in a deep blue heather, the flame bra in red ombré, and the adventure bra in emerald. Use my code XOVANESSASTEIL to get 25% off your first purchase through December!
