Spring is in the air as we turn our clocks ahead this weekend and get some extra daylight hours added to our days. Most of us really can’t complain about the mild (or rather, non-existent) winter we’ve had this year, but still, it will be nice to have warmer temps heading our way soon.
If you’re already planning your spring itinerary, you’re not alone. But we still have some time before spring arrives for real.
Here’s what’s on my agenda this month:
Do: I’m sitting for the Board-Certified Patient Advocacy exam at the end of this month. I’ve wanted to take this exam for a while, but never felt like I had adequate time to prepare for it. While I still feel like I’ve taken on a bit more than I can tackle, I’m going for it anyway. Wish me luck!
Go: I’m looking forward to my second appointment with Dr. Dawn at Inner Source Health (if you missed the post the other day about my first visit to see a naturopath, you can read it, here), which will get scheduled once we get the results of the 22 vials of blood that was taken. You know you are an adult when awaiting blood work results sparks as much joy as spending $200 at Sephora once used to. If you have any questions about holistic wellness or seeing a naturopathic doctor, please leave them in the comments below!
Attend: If you’re in the New York area and interested in health and wellness, mark your calendars for the Balanced By Fercci Health and Wellness Workshop in New York City on Saturday, March 14th from 2-4 pm. Hear from dedicated wellness professionals and enjoy a vinyasa yoga class, nutrition workshop, Tibetan singing bowls, and grounding exercises while getting to mix and mingle with like-minded people. Use code BEBALANCED to get 20% off your tickets!
Buy: You all know how much I love my Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask. So, it should come as no surprise that when I saw their new Super Amino Gel Cleanser making the rounds on Instagram, it immediately went on my wish list. The super clean ingredients include 11 amino acids, Maris Sal, and Vitamin E, Sodium PCA, and Sodium Lactate (which help to keep skin hydrated and reduce the effects of free radicals). Do you see why it made it on my radar, now?
Take: Calling all Pilates people! Flex Studios in New York City and Woodbury, NY is offering an amazing incentive this month—unlimited classes for $99. That means you can take as many FlexFormer or FlexIR classes as you like. I’ve been back at my weekly FlexIR classes now that they have a new weekend time slot that works for my schedule. I love starting my Sunday morning off bright and early with a restorative sweat session.
