I first got introduced to Viver Joy, a subscription box series curated for women living with cancer and other chronic illnesses, the same way as so many other things these days…on Instagram. I began following their account after seeing a post from a fellow cancer thriver who shared about their curated wellness boxes to support healing, bring joy and offer inspiration and I knew that I had found my tribe.
Recently, the lovely team behind Viver Joy reached out and offered to send me a box—and you know how much I love curated boxes, especially when they contain wellness products. As a busy professional, any time I can have products sourced for me and shipped directly to me, there’s an instant attraction. But with this subscription box, the mission was personal. I can still recall those early days after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer at the age of 26. Suddenly, my whole world felt different—people didn’t know what to say or how to help. What I needed was positivity, inspiration, and to know that I was supported.

When my Viver Joy box arrived, I was excited to check out of all the amazing products inside and I was eager to put them all to use. I loved that my box contained practical items like a S’well tumbler and also personal items like a red jasper worry stone.

My red Life Force box, which is the first in a three-part series, came with items intended to build a healthier foundation within and help the recipient embrace all of the elements that are essential to wellness. A couple of items that I wasn’t expecting (but delighted to find in my box) were a guide to a plant-based diet and also a delicious recipe card for a colorful butternut squash soup (is there anything better than butternut squash soup in the fall?).
Here’s a full list of everything that was in the Life Force box:
- Viver Health Guide to Plant-Based Diet
- Viver Health Colorful Butternut Squash Soup Recipe
- Viver Joy Canvas Tote Bag
- Red Jasper Worry Stone
- S’well Flare Traveler Bottle
- Liquid IV Hydration
- Sunwarrior Chocolate Protein
- Republic of Tea – Good Hope Vanilla Tea
- Divine Chocolate – 85% Cocoa Dark Chocolate
- Boiron Calendula Cream
- Bach Rescue Pearls for natural stress relief
- Eco Lips Bee Free Vegan Unscented Lip Balm
Aren’t these products great? I can tell you that on one particularly stressful workday, that dark chocolate bar was not long for this world and that the Bach Rescue Pearls, a product I was already familiar with, has come in handy on many occasions. One new-to-me product was the Calendula cream (which despite hearing about, I had never tried) and was worth its weight in gold to soothe some sunburned skin this summer.

What makes this Viver Joy box unique? I love that the company was founded by a breast cancer survivor with cancer patients and survivors in mind. But most importantly, I felt comfortable trying all of the products in my box since I knew they were physician-approved (something that’s good to know, if you are gifting to a cancer patient).
These boxes are perfect to send to someone who has recently been diagnosed with cancer to let them know they are loved and supported. I wish I had received a Viver Joy box to brighten my days after my own cancer diagnosis. It’s equal parts practical and special and it’s a great way to introduce a cancer patient to clean products that they may love and incorporate into their wellness routine moving forward.
I got a little sneak peek of some products that are in the other two boxes of the subscription series and can tell you that the New Vision box and the Powerful You box also make great gifts. What’s nice about this three-part series is that each box builds off the last to help the recipient connect with three of the chakras to completely rebalance the mind and body.
So, the next time you find yourself wondering how you can support a friend, co-worker or loved one who is going through a cancer diagnosis or chronic illness, visit Viver Joy and send them love and positivity in a box.
Thank you, Viver Joy, for sending over the Life Force box!
