Working from home requires a whole different dress code. Long gone are the slacks and stilettos that I’m accustomed to, and in come the cozy fleeces and soft joggers I now wear as my daily work-from-home uniform. In full disclosure, I much prefer the latter look these days.
The good thing about working from home (aside from being able to work at my leisure) is that I no longer need to do massive shopping hauls each season. Instead, I pick up a few items that catch my eye here and there. Loft has long been one of my favorite places to shop. If you remember those pre-pandemic days, I used to do a lot of in-person styling events in their stores. I know I can always find something that will fit my petite frame (without needing to be altered—a requirement in my book).
So, now that my life has changed again, it was time to peruse some new looks from Loft to love. I own this grey fleece from their Lou & Grey line, which is the first thing I pull out when the temperature hits below 50 degrees. It has become a staple in my wardrobe and has left me wanting almost every fleece the brand makes. When I spotted this zip-up sherpa jacket in a Facebook ad, I immediately moused over to buy it. The ad also led to the sale of these lace-up white sneakers with gold accents. I was never much of a sneaker fan in my earlier years, but I have become one, thanks to the many times I run in and out of the house each day. Of course, the easier to get on and off, the better, but I made an exception for this pair because I loved that they looked a little fancier with the gold accents.
Although we are just getting into the fall season, I’m already looking forward to finding some more layers to love from Loft.
Which pieces are you loving this season?
