The summer is upon us, and that means one thing: I need new swimsuits. So when an email from J.Crew landed in my inbox alerting me to their summer sale with many items discounted by as much as 50%, I immediately moused on over to start shopping.
For the last few years, my go-to retailer has been J.Crew for swimwear (as evidenced from the photo above). I love the styles, fit, and cut of their suits, plus they come in an array of sizes to choose from, and you can mix and match. Of course, J.Crew is also great for cover-ups, hats, bags, and all things summer in general, but I have been particularly impressed by their swimwear. And this year is no exception.
At the moment, I currently have this French bikini top and matching bottom in a pretty muted maroon color called Warm Chimney in my online cart. While I tend to gravitate to suits with removable straps, I thought this was a nice cut and decided to try something new for the summer of 2023. I’m also having a moment with baseball caps, so their hat that says Crew on it has also landed in my cart…but I digress.
If you are already set on swimwear for the season, J.Crew has plenty of other items included in their sale. The Cabana oversized sunglasses (that I’m wearing in the photo above), are a personal favorite. Actually, I loved them so much that I have a pair in black and beige tort (and who knows, I just might add a third pair to this order). I highly recommend them if you like a slightly oversized frame and don’t want to spend a fortune.
