Yesterday, after my penultimate Forward__Space class at The Barn (insert sad face emoji here), I stopped at the Hampton Classic Horse Show for Opening Day, which was conveniently located only a block away from my workout class.
It was a beautiful, breezy Sunday, which made it the perfect day to stroll around the show grounds. Usually, my first stop upon arrival is to one of the rings, where I immediately dive into whichever jumper class is happening. But this time, I started with the Boutique Garden and visited the vendors. One of the vendors I wanted to see was Brianne, the founder of Equisite Elements of Style, so I could peruse her new fall/winter collection. And let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. Some of my favorite styles have had fun new colors added to them. But on this occasion, I was actually on the hunt for something non-equestrian related that I could wear on my upcoming trip. You’ll have to stay tuned for the reveal, but let me just say that I think this item is going to go fast.

After saying hello to Brianne and a few other fellow vendors that I’ve become familiar with, I watched some hunter and equation classes, before taking a gelato break in the shade and awaiting the afternoon Grand Prix class to take to the ring.

My time at the show this year was unlike others when I had the whole day to spend at The Classic. In the afternoon, I had to head to the barn to ride a horse, which was a great way to end the weekend (even if it did cut down on my time at the show). Perhaps there will be another quick trip back to the show grounds before the competition wraps up on Sunday, September 3.
In the meantime, keep an eye on my Instagram for more snaps from the show and to see what I wore!
