After a week away, getting back into the swing of things has been a bit, well, rough. Add in some jet lag, seasonally unpredictable weather, and days that feel shorter, and it’s no wonder why getting back to reality is a struggle.
In between trying to finally unpack my suitcase and catch up on work, I’ve carved out some time to get back in the saddle, meet up with friends, and do some long overdue thinking on the business and personal life front. There’s something about spending time away that has given me the clarity that I was searching for—here’s hoping I can put my plans into action before the year’s end—but it has also brought up a different layer of grief. For now, I’m grateful to be keeping busy with a mix of big and small things as I settle back into my usual routine.

{Landed…and immediately stopped at The Farm Italy}

{Last sunset of summer}

{I can never resist a gorgeous grey}

{These two wanted my pumpkin donut almost as much as I did}

{Started the week off by buying myself flowers}
