My birthday month flew by, and this year, it wasn’t what I expected. Between turning another year older, battling grief on the first holiday since losing my grandmother, and dealing with an unexpected event that had me traveling out of state, I’m looking forward to a much calmer month ahead.
And I’m even more excited about this month since I have one remaining birthday present still coming to me. Read on to see what’s on my agenda.
Go: One of the things I’ve always loved is ballet. While I might not spend time going to the ballet, this year, a friend surprised me with Alvin Ailey tickets at City Center as a belated birthday present. I’ve decided to make a whole day of it and spend the entire day in New York City, starting with taking a class at Forward__Space and then meeting up with friends.
Do: This is the time of year that I enter hibernation mode and try to leave home as little as possible to avoid the cold. But the one positive about the colder temps is that I can finally return to my infrared pilates class at Flex Studios. There’s nothing better than starting my day off with a toasty workout to warm up.
Travel: This is still very much up in the air (pun intended) and will depend on airline prices, but I would love to get in one final trip to Europe before 2023 is over. I feel like I haven’t traveled at all the last few years between the pandemic and caring for my grandmother, and seeing the European Christmas markets is high on my list this year.
Launch: New things are in the works on the business front for 2024. I’m wrapping up my second round of Camp Clarity with my business coach this month, and I’m looking forward to starting the new year strong. If you’ve been looking for a way to get social media, public relations, and content creation support without hiring a consultant to manage it, I have just the thing for you. Stay tuned for a launch date in the new year!
