There wasn’t much going on around here this week besides a lot of self-care to try to kick this nasty cold of mine, some client work sprinkled in during my waking hours, and lots of time on the couch catching up on my favorite Bravo shows.
Even though it was a quiet week, some things made me grateful, while others gave me major FOMO (hello, 70-degree day that I couldn’t fully enjoy). Yet, there were still a few things that sparked joy for me this week.
Receiving a care package: One of my clients, who is the sweetest person ever, brought me the best care package full of flowers and delicious healthy food to get me better. It was such a kind gesture, and it brightened my day.
Changing the clocks: I know this has been a debated topic over on Instagram, but I love it when we set the clocks forward again. While, yes, we lose an hour of sleep, I feel like it’s a small price to pay to enjoy longer days.
Spring weather: Although I couldn’t enjoy much of it this week, the weather certainly made it feel like spring was here. I was jealous of everyone I saw from my window who was walking to get a coffee, out with their dog, or just outside in general. The only positive for me was that I was able to open all of my windows, and I occasionally felt the nice spring breeze.

Flowers are such an uplifting gift!
