If you’re a Target lover, you know that Target does some great collaborations with well-known designers. And you probably also know that these collaborations sell out fast. So, when Target dropped its most recent collection with Diane Von Furstenburg, it’s no wonder it sold out at 3 am online the same day it dropped. But fear not, if you didn’t stay up all night waiting to hit ‘purchase,’ you still might be able to snag some pieces at your local Target store.
Last week, I finally made it around to perusing the collection online. There were a few pieces that I liked, including a workout bodysuit and a colorful slip dress. Naturally, none of these items could be purchased online, nor were they looking like they were in stock in my local store. Never one to feel defeated, I decided to drive to a Target and take my chances. Once there, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of inventory still to be found in my size.
Here’s what I purchased from the collection:

Racerback Full-Length Bodysuit: I spotted this bodysuit online in a fun green color. Unfortunately, it was sold out in my size (and not sold in stores). But when I went to Target, I found the same bodysuit in a tonal zebra pattern, which I snatched up. I got it in an XXS, and when I tried it on, found that it ran a little big. But, lengthwise, on my petite frame, the sizing worked perfectly.

Racerback Disco Zebra Green Sports Bra: While I didn’t need another sports bra, they’re great to work out in, so I bought not one, but two. I also picked this bra up in the Cracked Glass Black/White Sports Bra pattern (seen in first photo above). I got both in XXS, and they fit true to size.

Long Satin Disco Zebra Pink Robe: This was something I saw when I looked at the collection online, but I didn’t think I would end up purchasing it. However, when I saw it in person, it was something I needed. I didn’t own a robe, and after trying this one at home, I am officially in my robe era now. Plus, I’ll be traveling soon, and this lightweight number will be a perfect addition to bring along and wear while I’m lounging around in my hotel room.

Long Satin Sunset Slip Dress: This was the dress I saw that got me interested in the collection to begin with, so I was thrilled when I spotted it at the last second in my local store. I tried it on the other night, and the length is perfect for us petite girlies. I got it in the XXS, but it does run slightly on the larger side. Still, for spring and summer, it’s a great piece, and the soft sunset colors are really pretty. I could see wearing this out to dinner with a denim jacket or pairing it with sneakers for a more casual vibe.
I’m glad I was able to shop the DVF collection and add some of these colorful pieces to my wardrobe. If you haven’t shopped it yet, you still might be able to find what you’re looking for at a Target near you.

Wow! I just love the work out outfits! Yellow slip dress is just gorgeous! Great choices!
