Well, my bags are packed, and by the time you read this, I will have arrived in Europe. Of course, no trip would be complete for me without bringing along a few new pieces from Loft. And fortunately, Loft recently dropped their latest collection, which did not disappoint.
I stopped into my local Loft store for one last shopping trip a few days ago. Even though I was set with what I was bringing on my trip, I figured it didn’t hurt to look for more options. And I was so glad that I did. Their new collection is perfect for spring and summer travel, with lots of items that scream vacation. From embroidered t-shirts to scalloped shorts to maxi dresses and more, this collection has a lot of blues, stripes, and everything in between to get you excited about the warmer days ahead.
While perusing the store, the Corfu Weekend Puff Sleeve Midi Dress in a blue floral pattern immediately caught my eye. As I continued to browse and ponder whether I needed another dress, I decided it was too good to pass up. It’s the perfect fit and fabric for summer and is a great option when you’re looking for something lightweight and want to look chic. The dress comes in a regular and a petite version, so no need to worry about the length.
With my mind starting to focus on summer the deeper I got into the store, I was reminded that the one thing I always need to buy before the start of the season is a new pair of white jeans. I tend to think of this much later on, and by that time, Loft is usually sold out. So, I was happy to see a plethora of options to choose from. I went with the Petite Frayed High Rise Skinny Jeans, which deviated slightly from the style I typically go for, but they fit perfectly.
Since I was able to get a great pair of white jeans, I decided to search for a top to complete the look so I could have one more outfit to add to my suitcase. I spotted the Abstract Swirl Satin Pocket Tee and grabbed it. I own this shirt in a soft pink color, and it is one of my go-to’s. It’s easy to wear and can be dressed up or down. The blue version paired with white jeans is the perfect look for summer.
