This weekend really felt like the start of summer. I embraced my first “Summer Friday” of the season, had a real beach weekend, and savored plenty of time out on the water. In all honesty, June is a challenging month, as it signifies the first anniversary of my grandmother’s passing. Sensing my energy shift almost with the arrival of June, I made the choice to grant myself some extra time off this weekend. And that seemed to be just what I needed. I surrounded myself with great company, found solace at the beach, and relished numerous hours of sailing (because is it even possible to feel anything but serene on a boat?).
As we embark on a new week, I am determined to carry some of the uplifting energy from the weekend with me.

{Took myself out for a lobster roll}

{The benefit of doing a closet clean out is that you find cute coverups you’ve never worn}

{My go-to ice cream order}

{Summer sailing is what it’s all about}
