If you’re looking for the perfect nail colors for summer, Manucurist has them in their Sunset Kiss collection. Naturally, I wasted no time opening my recent delivery from Manucurist and trying one of the newest colors in the collection, Wisteria, out on my nails. And let me say, this is the perfect purple shade for summer!
I’ve solely been using Manucurist products since discovering the brand, and I’ve never had nails that look as good as they do now. As someone who only used to use regular polishes, my nails always looked damaged, and as a result, I used to always keep polish on them. So when I first saw an ad for Manucurist on Instagram, I was intrigued. I had previously never done a gel manicure for fear that it would further damage my nails. But when I learned more about Manucurist’s Green Flash system which allowed me to do a gel manicure in the comfort of my own home and also made removal a breeze, I had to try it out for myself to see if it worked as well as it looked on the ‘Gram. To my surprise, it did. After trying their Green Flash system, I jumped at the chance to test out their Active Glow set, which is more of a nail serum than a polish. It worked so well, that I took two bottles from the set with me for a lengthy trip to Europe. And, guess what? My nails looked perfect for the entire time I was away.
Since using their Active Glow, I haven’t been putting polish on my nails (mainly because the Active Glow doesn’t require a base or top coat, and it’s so easy to apply). But that all changed when the Sunset Kiss collection landed on my doorstep earlier this week. I had already spotted the pretty Wisteria color making the rounds on Instagram, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it (pun intended). I was eager to get back to having color on my nails, so I broke out my trusty LED lamp from the brand and got to work.
The Sunset Kiss collection is part of Manucurist’s Green Flash line, which means it doesn’t have the harmful chemicals like regular nail polish, yet it stays on for 10 days, is kind to your nails and the planet, and can be removed like ordinary polish in under a minute (minus the harsh rubbing). The latest collection features the arrival of Wisteria, Lemonade, and Pamplemousse, and if you’re a sunset lover like me, you will immediately detect where the inspiration behind these beautiful purple, yellow, and orange shades came from. Not only are they all pretty to wear, but they’re perfect for summer and make choosing a color for your next manicure a breeze.
While I typically gravitate toward coral and white for the summer months, the Sunset Kiss collection has just the pop of color I was looking for. Wisteria is a bolder shade than I would normally go for but looks so good against sun-kissed skin. I find myself staring at my hands now that my nails are healthier and marveling at how long my nails have been able to grow, sans chipping, thanks to Manucurist.
Aside from the colors, the best part about this collection is that it offers different finishes. Wisteria has a non-iridescent finish, while Lemonade has an iridescent finish and Pamplemousse metallic.
