Have you ever had a week where everything goes…right? This was one of those weeks for me. For some reason, this was a week where my energy levels started strong, and I was somehow able to sustain that momentum until Friday. Perhaps it was because I attended this wellness event last weekend or that I put some of my new wellness products to the test this week. But whatever the actual reason, I had a level of energy that was unmatched and that I wish I could bottle up and have on hand every week.
Here’s what kept me going this week:

Masterclass with my business coach: One thing my business coach, Diana Davis, always discussed was the benefit of time blocking on your calendar. It’s something I do daily, but especially as I kick off my week to see what’s ahead for me. This week, she hosted a free masterclass about how to scale your business as a creative entrepreneur and knowing that it was on my calendar helped set the tone for the week. I try to jump into her masterclasses whenever she has them, as I always learn something new from her and her community. The topic of this one felt especially relevant, as I’m focused on growing my business in year two.

Nécessaire The Body Wash in Santal: The other day, I ran over to Sephora because I was out of my eyebrow gel (this one is the best if you’re in the market). Naturally, I also remembered I was out of body wash and walked over to the Nécessaire aisle once in the store. I was thrilled when I saw they released a body wash in the Santal scent, and I immediately purchased it. If Le Labo Santal 33 or the Salt & Stone body washes are your go-to, you’ll love this one, too!

Summer sunset: With the recent heat wave we’ve been having, I haven’t been able to get down to the beach much—even at 7 PM. But this week, after a few nights of heavy thunderstorms, it cooled down enough to grab my beach chair and head down to watch the sunset after my work day. Despite the cloudy evening, I was able to capture this shot.

The perfect bag for summer: I was in Madison’s Niche, a cute local store for clothes and gifts for special occasions, when I spotted this great straw bag for summer. I loved the bright pink and orange hues, which ironically matched the manicure I had just given myself. I walked around the store intending to purchase it, before I decided that I didn’t need another bag. But how cute is it? If you’re on Long Island, please buy this bag so I don’t feel bad for leaving it behind.

Plumping PhytoCeramide Cleanser from Motif: I can’t say enough good things about the wellness event I attended last weekend. This cleanser from Motif was in my goodie bag, and I wasted no time trying it, especially since I was out of my beloved Mario Badescu cleanser. The first thing that caught my eye about this product is the packaging and branding colors. But it was the creamy cleanser with plumping benefits that was the perfect mask-exfoliator hybrid that sold me. With ingredients like Pineapple Ceramides to enhance hydration and Monkeyfruit to brighten the skin, this is the easiest way to feel like you got a hydrating facial just by washing your face. I’ve been using it morning and evening, and loving how luxurious it feels on my skin and how plump and radiant my skin looks afterward.
