When I used to think about hair care, I thought it meant getting my hair trimmed regularly to keep my ends healthy and looking at the ingredients in the shampoos and conditioners I was using. But as I’ve gotten older, I realized that my hair needed more attention than I gave it. Over the last couple of years, it’s started to feel thinner, look dryer, and has left me wondering, what the hair is going on?
Thankfully, my hairstylist assured me that my hair was healthy, so I turned my attention to the products I was using. And then, a product that seemed to answer all of my prayers quite literally landed in my hands (or at least in one of my recent goodie bags from a wellness event I had attended).
The award-winning Allyoos—“all yous”—Juice Drench hair mask seemed like the product I was looking for and one that my hair needed. I wasted no time trying it out and quickly saw why this product has become a fan favorite. The hair mask can be used anytime and anywhere (think, perfect for those times when you realize that you really should have washed your hair the night before), and it’s 99% plant and water-based, meaning no harmful ingredients here!

I tried this product one morning when my hair was looking particularly rough ahead of a day of client meetings (and no amount of straightening or styling product seemed to help). I grabbed the tube from my goodie bag and decided to give it a try. I applied it to my dry hair (although it can also be used on wet hair), first working it into my ends and then applying a bit more to my roots. After that, I used a hair tie to put my hair into a slick bun and let my hair absorb the product. I like that the mask is thick (but not greasy), smells fresh, and leaves you with that wet hair look. As I went about my day, the Juice Drench hair mask got to work.
When I returned home later, I almost forgot I still had the mask on (it’s that weightless). My hair stayed so well all day that I didn’t want to rinse it out. But, alas, I needed to hop in the shower. I applied shampoo and conditioner and let my hair air dry after that. I wasn’t expecting to see a noticeable difference, but the next morning my hair seemed more tame than usual (and its shine was restored).
This product quickly earned its place in my beauty regimen and became my go-to weekly hair mask to keep my hair looking its best. I was never one to do hair masks of any kind in the past, but the fact that you can apply this mask and then get on with your day almost immediately sold me. Plus, who doesn’t love a Juice Drench bun?
Aside from the product’s benefits, the company itself impressed me with its use of recycled packaging, inclusivity, clean ingredients, and commitment to giving back to the planet. Oh, and did I mention that it is female-founded?
I’ve been on the receiving end of some incredible beauty and wellness products lately as a result of all of the Hamptons events I’ve attended, and this mask is at the top of the list (which is saying a lot). Although it was initially gifted to me, this mask has now made me a loyal customer, and I look forward to supporting the brand and trying their other product, the scalp and root rinse, to continue to improve my overall hair health.
