Well, another Halloween is in the books, and dare I say it was the best yet, thanks to one of my clients who brought the spirit. While my costume this year was about as last minute as you can get, her Halloween parties are pretty epic, so I knew I needed to come up with something spooktacular. I managed to get into costume about an hour before I had to be at this dinner party, thanks to watching many Halloween makeup tutorials on Instagram, and using my trusty L’Oréal mascara and staple red lipstick I always have on hand.

We had a great night greeting Trick-or-Treaters who seemed more excited by our enthusiasm for the holiday than the candy they were getting, and enjoying wine from 19 Crimes in its special edition glow-in-the-dark bottle. Afterward, we dined on signature hors d’oeuvres and indulged in desserts from one of our favorite local bakeries.

There’s something about Halloween as an adult that is far more enjoyable than it was when I was a kid. Hope you all had a boo-tiful day!
