This past weekend, I made my first trip of the season out east to Sag Harbor—and what better way to welcome spring than with a rejuvenating yoga class? My friend Stacey, the founder of OutEastFitness, hosted a morning session that was exactly what I needed after a winter spent in full hibernation mode. Easing back into movement with a gentle yoga flow was the perfect way to restart my workout routine without shocking my system.
The class was in partnership with Well Reserved, a private and personalized wellness experience that brings workouts directly to you. Think of it as the Uber of fitness—pairing you with an instructor who will lead a class of your choosing, in your own space. Genius, right? As someone who doesn’t love working out solo but avoids overcrowded fitness classes, this concept checks all the boxes. Whether you need accountability while traveling or want to plan a wellness night with friends, Well Reserved makes it seamless with their on-demand booking system.

Stacey secured the most serene spot for our class at Satori House, a hidden wellness oasis nestled in the heart of Sag Harbor. The space exuded coastal charm, and its airy and bright ambiance instantly invited relaxation. Our instructor for the morning was Loulou Gaget, who teaches in the Hamptons and is a Well Reserved partner. From the moment we stepped onto our mats, I knew this class was going to be something special.

Loulou started the session by checking in with each of us, asking about any injuries or areas of focus. As an equestrian, my hips are perpetually tight, and as an entrepreneur glued to my laptop for long hours, my lower back tends to protest by the end of the week. With each stretch, I could feel my body lengthening and the tension slowly melting away. Loulou offered thoughtful modifications and hands-on adjustments (if desired), making the practice accessible and beneficial for everyone. By the end of the hour, I felt lighter, more limber, and completely transformed—any stress from the week had vanished.

After class, we lingered a bit longer, soaking in the peaceful energy of Satori House, chatting about life on the East End, and, of course, connecting on Instagram. The Hamptons wellness scene is truly something special, and I always cherish the opportunity to meet like-minded women who are just as passionate about health and well-being as I am.

I’m already counting down the days until I’ll be back out east more frequently and settling into a regular workout routine. A huge thank you to Stacey for hosting such a beautiful class and for introducing me to Well Reserved. I’m beyond excited that they’re expanding their services to Long Island and the Hamptons. If this class was any indication, I can’t wait to book more sessions and continue prioritizing movement in such an effortless and enjoyable way!
