Now that the weather is warming up, I’ve been reaching for softer shades on my nails. While I’m not quite ready to bring out the bright whites just yet, a subtle, clean look has been calling my name. True to its name, Active Shine delivers serious shine. At first glance, I thought it might be too much on its own. But then I had the idea to layer it, and suddenly, I recreated the chrome nail trend I’ve admired for ages using just two products.
Enter Crème from the Green line. It’s the prettiest milky blush and one of Manucurist’s most-loved shades for good reason. I had been wearing it on its own for spring, but the last time I did my nails, I wanted a little extra sparkle. I layered Active Shine over Crème, and the result? A soft, chrome-like finish that feels fresh, modern, and totally wearable.
With just these two products, my nails were spring-ready and then some. I can’t wait to try Active Shine over some of my brighter coral shades this summer—I have a feeling it’ll take them to the next level. Pro tip: you can also layer shades within the Active line. I love mixing Active Smooth and Active Bright for a natural, glowing nail look.
