Well, it finally feels like summer has arrived—and how long the nice weather sticks around is anyone’s guess. But for now? I’ll take it.
As we count down to the official start of summer, I’ve set a simple intention: be present. With client events slowing down a bit this season, I’m making more room for joy and play—even if that play comes in the form of personal development (or climbing a mast on a sailboat). Summer always seems to fly by, but I’m hoping that by being more intentional with my time, it’ll feel just a little bit longer.
Here’s what’s on my June agenda:
Go: The first weekend of June kicks off with not one but two workouts. On June 7, I’m heading out East for a special stretch and flow class hosted by Taylor Pearl at a private residence in Amagansett. And because I like to make the most of my time on the East End, I also signed up for an 8 AM Forward_Space class that morning. Will I be sore? Absolutely. Will I regret it? Probably not.
P.S. Forward_Space is back at The Barn in Bridgehampton this summer for their Hamptons residency. If you’re looking for a high-energy workout, spiritual reset, and empowering community all packed into 50 minutes, dance your heart out with them.
Do: This month marks my first official boat race—and it’s at none other than Execution Rocks Lighthouse. Yes, the name is as ominous as it sounds. According to legend, during the Revolutionary War, British soldiers chained prisoners to the rocks at low tide and left them to drown when the tide came in. Today, the lighthouse remains uninhabited and, reportedly, haunted. While the site is closed to the public, the race takes sailors near this historic (and spooky) Long Island landmark I’ve long wanted to see up close.
Play: Last summer, I had the chance to attend an event with Break the Love at the Montauk Yacht Club, where I hit the tennis courts with a pro. It reignited my interest in finally taking lessons. Thankfully, Break the Love makes that easy—they connect players with courts and clubs, and they’re back in the Hamptons with pop-ups this season. Next up: I’ll be at their June 28 event at Gotham Tennis in Montauk. If you’re in NYC or the East End, check out their site to find court time or join their next event.
Try: My hair has entered its air-dry era, and I owe it all to Crown Affair’s Texturizing Air Dry Mousse. I picked it up at Sephora after hearing the rave reviews, and wow—it delivers. Just apply the lightweight mousse to damp hair, twist it into a braid or leave it loose, and let it air dry. By morning, you’ve got effortless, beach waves—no heat styling needed. I’ve used it a few times already and plan to write a longer review soon, but spoiler alert: this might just be the product of Summer 2025.
What’s on your agenda this month? Let me know in the comments or over on Instagram! Let’s make this summer count.
