For me, summer isn’t just about sunny skies—it’s an invitation to move my body more. Whether it’s a mid-day sanity stroll, a quiet evening at my local beach, or a morning workout class on the East End of Long Island, there’s no shortage of ways to embrace movement during the season of long, sunlit days. This past weekend, I did just that—and kicked off summer with not one, but two wellness experiences in the Hamptons.
After a packed week of client calls and meetings, I was ready for a change of pace—and a good sweat session (humidity and rain in the forecast be damned). As soon as I finalized my weekend plans out East, I immediately checked for a Forward_Space class that would fit into my schedule. Luckily, I snagged a spot in their 8:15 a.m. Forward_Fire class—my personal favorite—and hit the road early to make it in time. The class left me feeling energized, and even better, I had just enough time afterward to head a few miles over to Amagansett for my second workout of the day at a private residence.
The next class was a gentle yoga that centered around the theme of being in a state of flow, and was hosted by my friend Taylor Pearl, in collaboration with wellness brands Jolie and Noén. After the high-energy Forward_Space workout, this slower-paced class was exactly what my body (and mind) needed to ease into the weekend.

The setting couldn’t have been more perfect: yoga mats were thoughtfully placed around an in-ground pool nestled in a serene, secluded backyard—a true wellness oasis. I’ve taken a few of Taylor’s classes before and love her approach. She brings such calm energy and always offers modifications, which was ideal since I was looking to focus on recovery. I moved at my own pace through a series of grounding poses, pausing now and then to take in the peaceful surroundings.
By the end of the hour, I felt fully refreshed—stretched, restored, and totally recharged. As a bonus, I also got to connect with new people and discover some incredible brands.

Jolie, a company that believes beauty begins with clean water, introduced us to their Filtered Showerhead, which removes chlorine, heavy metals, and other impurities from your water. Not only is it sleek and easy to install, but it’s also designed to improve skin texture and reduce hair shedding. I’m excited to upgrade my shower routine and see how this simple change impacts my skin and hair health.
Noén, an intimacy and wellness brand that celebrates sensuality in daily life, gifted us their Afterplay Oil—a deeply hydrating all-over body oil designed for use after anything: sun, shower, shave, swim, or pleasure. It’s already earned a spot in my post-yoga ritual.

After class, we were treated to delicious homemade bites and left with the most generous gift bags filled with wellness essentials, including:
- Frozen Toner Pads and Fridge to Face Blemish Defense Mist from Sofie Pavitt Face
- Detangling Tonic Spray from Ebb Ocean Club
- Hyaluronic Body Serum from OSEA
- The Mineral Melt and The Golden Guard from Dune Suncare
This experience was everything I needed to start the season off right. I’m already looking forward to more weekends like this—filled with movement, connection, and moments that restore.
