If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that birthdays are less about the number and more about how you feel stepping into a new year. And this year, turning 39 felt nothing short of special.

I kicked off the celebration in the place that grounds me most—the barn. There’s something about starting a birthday morning surrounded by horses, fresh air, and that familiar sense of calm that always helps me reflect on where I’ve been and where I’m headed. Spending time with the horses was the perfect way to ease into the day and set the tone for the year ahead.
From there, the celebrations continued with dinners with friends who have become family. Good food, heartfelt conversations, and laughter around the table reminded me how grateful I am for the people in my life who show up, support me, and make even the simple moments feel memorable.

And of course, no birthday recap would be complete without mentioning a now-iconic tradition: the 7-layer cake. It has officially become the celebratory dessert I look forward to every November, and this year’s cake did not disappoint. It was the perfect sweet ending to a week filled with all of my favorite things.

More than anything, I felt deeply loved and cared for—something I don’t take lightly. After a year of growth, change, and stepping further into my purpose, celebrating 39 felt like a gentle reminder to honor how far I’ve come and embrace everything that’s ahead.
Speaking of what’s ahead…I’m now turning my attention to packing for an upcoming trip to Europe. I’ll be traveling for the next few weeks, and I can’t wait to soak up new experiences, recharge, and return with fresh inspiration. Stay tuned, and follow along on Instagram for all the behind-the-scenes moments and updates.
Here’s to 39: a year of gratitude, joy, and new adventures just waiting to unfold.
