As we head into fall weather and cooler days, it felt like the perfect time to stock up on some skincare essentials.
I started using a few products from the French skincare brand Doré and quickly fell in love with how simple yet effective they were on my skin. There’s something I really appreciate about a skincare routine that doesn’t feel overly complicated—just a few thoughtfully made products that work well and feel good to use.
Over time, I found more and more Doré products to love, and voilà…now I practically own the entire line.
So, when it was time for a little fall restock, I knew exactly what I needed. I ordered Le Cleanser, La Crème, and Le Sérum. The Crème and The Sérum were already familiar favorites, but The Cleanser was a new addition to my routine, so I was especially excited to give it a try.
I’ve always been a fan of a good cleanser—something that leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean without that tight, stripped feeling afterward. This one has quickly become a favorite part of my morning and evening routine. The gel-to-milk consistency feels gentle and refreshing, and I love how clean my skin feels afterward without feeling like I’ve taken away all of its natural moisture. It’s a simple step, but it sets the tone for everything that comes next in my skincare routine.
There’s something about the change of seasons that always makes me want to reset a little. Maybe it’s putting away the summer clothes and pulling out the sweaters, reorganizing a few things around the house or simply settling into a slightly slower fall routine. Skincare tends to get that same seasonal refresh for me.
As the weather gets cooler, my skin tends to appreciate a little extra hydration and attention. I love having products on hand that make my routine feel simple but still a little indulgent. And honestly, there’s something about a fresh bottle or jar of a skincare favorite that makes even an everyday routine feel a bit more special.
That’s one of the things I’ve come to love about Doré. The products feel uncomplicated and approachable, but there’s still something luxurious about using them. They’ve become the kind of products I reach for without really thinking about it—which, to me, is always a good sign that something has earned a permanent spot in my routine.
And apparently, a permanent spot in my bathroom cabinet, too.
At this point, I think it’s safe to say my Doré collection is no longer just a few products. But I’m certainly not complaining.
Here’s to cooler days, cozy nights, a little seasonal reset and giving our skin some extra love as we head into fall.
