There’s just something about a new season at the barn that makes me want to refresh my riding wardrobe. And this fall, I have a few new pieces from Equinavia that I’m especially excited to wear.
I’ll admit, I’m also very much in my brown era these days. From my everyday wardrobe to my riding clothes, I’ve been gravitating toward warm, earthy tones lately, so a new pair of brown breeches felt like a pretty obvious addition to my closet.
Along with the breeches, I added a ribbed long-sleeve training shirt, a teddy fleece vest, and a new belt to my riding rotation. Basically, everything I need to put together a few new barn looks as the temperatures start to cool down.
The Brown Breeches
First up: the Maud Women’s Knee Patch Breeches in Chocolate Brown.
With brown having such a moment right now, adding these to my riding wardrobe felt like an easy choice. The rich chocolate shade is perfect for fall and gives me a nice change from my usual black and navy riding attire. While I tend to gravitate toward riding leggings, these breeches offer a relaxed silhouette with a slightly more elevated appearance. They still have that classic equestrian look, but the color gives them a fresh, modern feel.

The Long Sleeve
A good long-sleeve is one of those riding pieces I can never have too many of, and the Alexandra Ribbed Training Shirt in Rain Cloud is such a versatile addition to my fall wardrobe.
I love the soft gray tone with the brown breeches. It keeps the outfit from feeling too monochromatic while still fitting perfectly into the neutral, understated color palette I’ve been loving lately.
It’s also perfect for those in-between fall days when you need a little something extra but don’t necessarily want a heavy layer. And paired with a vest? It’s pretty much my ideal fall barn outfit.

The Vest
Then there’s the Emma Teddy Fleece Vest in Desert Taupe/Dark Brown. This might be one of the pieces I’m most excited to layer this fall.
I love a good vest for barn days, especially when the mornings are chilly but it’s not quite cold enough to commit to a heavier jacket. The teddy fleece gives it that cozy fall feel, while the taupe and dark brown combination makes it incredibly easy to pair with the rest of my riding wardrobe.
And, of course, it looks especially good with the chocolate brown breeches — because apparently I’m fully committed to this brown era.

The Belt
Last but certainly not least, a new Filippa Fancy Stitch Bit Belt in Brown.
It might be a small detail, but I think the right accessories can really pull a riding outfit together. I especially love the bit detail on this one — it gives the belt a classic equestrian touch without feeling overly obvious.
The brown also works perfectly with the chocolate breeches while tying in with the darker details of the vest. It’s one of those little pieces that makes the whole outfit feel more finished.

Ready for Fall at the Barn
These new Equinavia pieces are already giving me plenty of outfit combinations to work with, and I’m looking forward to putting them to good use throughout the season. There’s something about a fresh riding outfit that makes me even more excited to get to the barn. Because while I’ll always be happiest in the saddle, having a new riding outfit certainly doesn’t hurt.
