Daydreaming about the day I get the all-clear from my surgeon to get back in the saddle and can wear these new pieces from @equinavia again 🤎🐴

Recovery has been a reminder that I can’t always

Recovery has been a reminder that I can’t always be on the go, and that’s okay 🤍 As I recover from my myomectomy, I’m learning to slow down, make more time for myself, and give my body the space it needs to heal.

A little time at @montauksaltcavewest felt like the perfect way to pause, reset, and embrace this season of taking things a little slower.

Consider this your reminder to take a moment for yourself today!

Life lately: recovery edition 🤍

The past two weeks have looked a little different than usual as I recover from a myomectomy. That’s meant slower days, lots of rest, coffee deliveries, fresh flowers, and learning to be okay with not being on the go all the time.

After a busy September, I didn’t exactly plan to slow down like this, but sometimes life has other plans. I’m grateful for good news from my surgeon, a smooth recovery so far, and the people who have made these days a little easier.

Still healing, taking it one day at a time, and slowly easing back into my usual routine. Turns out, slowing down isn’t so bad after all.

Apparently, I’m in my brown era 🤎🐴🍂

As the seasons change, I’ve been refreshing my riding wardrobe with a few new pieces from @equinavia, including these chocolate brown breeches, a ribbed long-sleeve, teddy fleece vest, and new brown bit belt.

I’m especially loving how easily these pieces work together and how perfect they feel for fall at the barn. There’s just something about a fresh riding outfit that makes me even more excited to get in the saddle.

Want to see all four pieces in action and how I’m styling them for fall? Head over to the blog via the link in bio!

Thank you to Equinavia for gifting me these pieces! I can’t wait to wear them all season long.

But a new riding outfit…now that is happiness🐴

Already looking forward to wearing these new @equinavia pieces all season long!

These days, taking care of my 39-year-old skin loo

These days, taking care of my 39-year-old skin looks a little like this...

I spent an afternoon at @mysenseplus in Great Neck trying their Detox Facial, and from the moment I walked in, it felt like a little oasis. The facial was incredibly relaxing — exactly the kind of hour where you can completely switch off and let someone else take care of you.

I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and like my skin got a much-needed reset.

Thank you to Sense+ Skincare & Wellness Spa for having me!
