I promise. I will stop posting photos from our recent snowstorm — soon. In the meantime, please bear with me. Now that all of the hard work is done (aka digging out), the roads cleared, and I’ve escaped my house for a few hours, I thought it would be nice to admire the beauty of the great outdoors after the storm. With any luck, rising temperatures later in the week will melt much of the snow — and these photos will be a distant memory.

Beautiful photos! I thought about going out in the snow to get some, but I’m a baby when it comes to cold weather.

Your sunset shot captured here is amazing!
Chocolate of any kind is a great way to survive a snowstorm 😉
A beautiful post 🙂
Laura http://www.shehearts.net xx
Thanks, Laura! I completely agree — chocolate makes everything better.
Wow, Vanessa, that last shot is truly breathtaking! I love Starbucks’ hot coca, so delicious! I’m hoping that much of the snow begins to melt, too. I love when the snow first falls, but after a day or so, I’m ready for it all to just evaporate, haha! I hope you’re having a wonderful day so far and thanks so much for sharing!

Thanks, Jalisa! I’m over the snow by now, too. Thankfully, it seems to be melting quickly. The Starbucks hot cocoa packets definitely kept me sane while snowed in!
That last pic is breathtaking! So glad things are getting back to normal. 🙂

Thanks, Kathrine! That last picture is one of my favorites. I actually still can’t believe that I shot it!
Beautiful photos! I ventured out into Central Park during the blizzard, and it was amazing how many people were out there. I love snow, but the streets require giant rafts to navigate now. Those enormous, slushy puddles aren’t pleasant. 🙁 And all the snow is now dirty/muddy. Didn’t take long!

Central Park must have been beautiful in the snow. I love seeing all of the photos of NYC in the snow on Instagram. I’m glad the snow is melting quickly, but it’s such a mess. Spring can’t come soon enough!
I love the last photo, beautiful sunset!
Thanks, Tanya! It was such a gorgeous sunset. I’m glad I was able to capture it.

I still can’t believe we didn’t get hit with the snow storm here (in Toronto)! I have been thinking about all my friends in the USA who got snow, it’s pretty crazy! Hot chocolate definitely sounds like the best way to deal with all that snow 🙂

You’re lucky you missed the storm, Eden! We’ve had warm temps so the snow is melting quickly. Now we’re left with a lot of slush.

Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the photos.
I am sorry about the storm and the snow though. One can never go wrong with hot cocoa on a cold day and what better place to get it that starbucks? The donuts are making me salivate so hard!! Looking forward to your next post. Great post dear!
