Despite it being June, this lightweight floral bomber from the Who What Wear collection has still been on major repeat lately. I wore it to an event in New York City a couple of weeks ago and layered the black and white cold shoulder sweater (also from Who What Wear) under it.
I’ve wanted to share this look on the blog for a while, so I’m thankful that Kate from Taffeta & Tulips was with me in the City and graciously snapped a few outfit photos as we strolled through the Lower East Side.
The floral bomber is one of my favorite grab-and-go pieces. It’s perfect for dressing up a plain t-shirt, or for wearing with a pair of skinny jeans or even over a t-shirt dress. I thought that by the time we got to June the bomber would be tucked away in my closet—on hiatus until fall. But with the cool, rainy temps we’ve been having, this piece has been worn more times than I can count—in just one season.
Next up: the cold shoulder sweater (hurry, it’s on clearance now at Target for under $10!). I was late adopting this trend, and admittedly I was not sold when I first tried it on. But its cozy knit combined with the fact that I can wear it to the office (with a blazer thrown over, of course) made me regret that I ever doubted its versatility. I’ve paired the top with white skinny jeans on a few occasions, and while I love bright hues in the summer, there is something about a classic black and white ensemble that never goes out of style.
So, here’s to a chilly June and being able to extend the life of two of my favorite pieces from the Who What Wear line.
Love both these pieces! That bomber has such an amazing print. Thanks for sharing your styling on these. You look amazing in those shades by the way. Have a great day Vanessa!

Thanks! Me too!
I really adore that relaxed but cool-as-can-be vibe you’re exuding, Vanessa. Sooo, well, cool 🙂
